IDRS MIDNORTH REGIONAL CHAPTER

Welcome!

Our mission: We strive to build a thriving community of double reed players by providing essential resources, fostering meaningful connections, and advancing excellence in teaching and performance across the Midnorth region.

Welcome to the International Double Reed Society's (IDRS) Midnorth Regional Chapter, a vibrant new community elevating the artistry and education of oboists and bassoonists across ten states: North Dakota, South Dakota, Nebraska, Minnesota, Iowa, Wisconsin, Michigan, Indiana, Ohio, and Illinois.

From the windswept prairies of North Dakota to the bustling cities of Ohio, this chapter facilitates connection in the Midnorth region and supports double reed players through inspiring performances, informative workshops, collaborative festivals, and educational resources suitable for players of all ages and abilities.
